With the new draft picks just around the corner, many people are wondering  who the top 10 fantasy football players 2011. Football in America has been a ever growing sport, as many Americans are huge fans of Football. Whether it is the NFL SuperBowl, or a small time college football game, it is always the biggest deal. Football is considered as a different sport in many countries around the world. Such as in the UK and South Asia, Football is the name they use for the universal sport, soccer. Soccer is an internationally renowned sport that millions of people follow. People from parts of America, Canada and even Asia are great sports fanatics about the Soccer championships that take place in Europe.

10. Aaron Rodgers

If you are looking for a player who can score some great fantasy points, it would be Aaron Rodgers, as he truly as the flare for it. He has a passing yard line of about 4000, along with twenty-eight passing TDs, and four rushing TD’s. He has just switched his career path and is now entering the SuperBowl, so many people still don’t know what to expect from him. As he has no history with the Football league, it is going to be tough for people to see who will be what in the year end. However, if he could match his performance from last year, especially now that he is part of a strong team, he would make a great fantasy football player.

Michael Vick has had some media attention from the several accusations against him, but that has all gone under now. He is regarded as a choice for the gamblers out there, as you don’t really know what to expect from him. It is a rule that many people use and it says that, it is never a good idea to use a quarterback in the first round. History has sort of proven this fact as well. When we look at last years fantasy football league, we can see that out of the top twenty five players, seventeen of them were quarterbacks. Michael Vick is an extremely powerful runner, and it is one of the reasons many people choose him out. In last years overall standings, he came in second, so he sure is a good player to choose.

He is a receiver and is known to be consistent throughout his games. Some people have mentioned that they would rather choose Dwayne Bowe or Andre Johnson, but that is just their personal opinion. You could look at how these players are performing and you could make your educated choices. In 2010, Roddy White took the second place for the total receiving yards, which tallied up to be 1389 yards. Through all this, he managed to take home eleven touchdowns as well. One player that has been known to work well with Roddy White is Matt Ryan, so you guys should look at his performance as well.

Rashard Mendenhall was one of the reasons why the Steelers made it so far into the Superbowl. Many people still don’t know how good of a player Rashard Mendenhall is. In 2010, they were going with about thirteen touchdowns and were in second place. Rashard Mendenhall made it possible for the team to cut down on his salary so that the team could still keep him as their own. He gave the team a lot more than financial stability, as he got them so far in the season. Before you select Rashard Mendenhall as your fantasy football player for 2011, look at his performance during the first few games.

Michael Turner is one footballs most valuable backs, as he has shown a great level of performance in the past seasons. He had brought up about twelve touchdowns and and 1371 yards, which were rushing yards. In the past two years, he has led the team with great exhilaration and motivation. He had a small surgery during the last season, and the Falcons had signed a rookie onto the team, but that still hasn’t changed anything. Michael Turner works hard for his team, and you can see it from his yearly performance. If you feel that he is not doing well in 2011, you should listen to your critical thinking and avoid him, as you never know what could happen.

During the last season, Ray Rice did quite well and took home about 1200 yards. However, his managers were always frustrated with his lack of consistency during the games. He would do amazing in one game, but then would go back into the slumps for the next game. Vonta Leach has now been signed to the team to be the official lead blocker for Ray Rice. Many people are suspecting that Ray Rice would be an amazing asset to any fantasy football league, especially with his talent. It is just that critical feeling people have about that one player who seems to do just fine.

4. Jamaal Charles

The Kansas team brought some major surprises to the NFL and people were amazed at how well they had actually done. Prior to the 2010 season, people were not talking much about Jamaal Charles, and the Kanses City Cheifs, but during the season, they surely got some major spokes running. Jamaal Charles was a major part of the surprise, as he worked incredibly hard to bring his team up together. He ended the season with a total of 1467 yards, which was not too far from Arian. If you look at Jamaal Charles’s total yards per carry, it comes out to about 6.4, which is honestly not that bad. He will surely make a wonderful addition to any fantasy football league.

3. Chris Johnson

Before the 2010 NFL season started, Chris Johnson had said he would bring out the 2000+ yards in him, but that did not happen. He provided eleven touchdowns and a total of 1364 rushing yards, which is not bad. Chris Johnson is expected to have some more room to run this year, which would get him far more yards than last year. He has the flare a player needs for football, and would make an excellent player for your fantasy football league. It is always a good idea to look at how he does with the Titans during the first few games. The media would surely be giving you some advice on this as well.

2. Adrian Peterson

For a few years now, Adrian Peterson has been at the top of the charts for fantasy football players. With a total of 1298 rushing yards and twelve touchdowns, he has proven himself worthy as a football player. Commotions in the online world have been about the fact that he has more space to run this year, as there is no defence. He is expected to do better than in 2010, as he has gone through some great training this past year. As a true Minnesota Vikings player, he is surely going to help them bring up their rankings in the 2011 season games.

In the 2010 season for the fantasy football league, Arian Foster was the lead player. He came out with 1616 rushing yards and sixteen rushing touchdowns, six hundred and four receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns. So many fantasy football leagues topped the charts with Arian Foster as he just blew up the charts. As a running back, we might see a dip in his performance as compared to last year, but not a significant change.  However, he is expected to rank among the top ten fantasy football players of 2011. If you are looking for a number one pick for your fantasy football league, Arian Foster is your shot.
