According to a recent article from Yahoo News, Michelle Obama told iVillage that her husband President Obama doesn’ like their daughters Sasha, 10, and Malia, 13, keeping up with Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian’s antics on the boob tube.
A bit further in the interview, Michelle tells iVillage she doesn’t want her girls raised as “little princesses.”
I find this as yet another false and absurd statement coming out of the Obama camp. It’s impossible to state that you don’t want your children to be raised as “little princesses” when all past actions prove otherwise.
Recently in another news article Michelle Obama was dubbed as being a “Modern-day Marie Antoinette” a title she earned while vacationing in Spain with her one of her daughters, a trip the White House claims is a private trip, by a private citizen.
The cost to tax payers for this lavish private trip for Michelle, one of her daughters and 40 of her closest friends is still unknown. The chic hotel she visited said the Obama party occupied 60-70 of their rooms. Very nice and cozy mother daughter trip wouldn’t you say.
One can only assume that it was an effort on the Obamas part to save money by claiming their daughters as senior White House

A White House official defended the African trip as being important stating, ” where (Africa) the president has been pursuing a personal agenda, especially in Kenya, the home of his father.” I personally would like to know what the personal agenda is. Obama is the President of the United States and his personal agendas outside of the USA are of great concern to me as a citizen of this country.
All in all according to another news article, Michelle Obama has spent over $10 million in tax payers money in the last year on vacations alone. You can find the whole accounting in the article source.
Maybe what Michelle Obama meant to say was that she doesn’t want her daughters thinking she is living like a princess while her poverty stricken subjects are loosing their jobs and homes at an alarming rate daily. “A “Modern-day Marie Antoinette” sounds fitting all facts considered.
