Top 10 Laptop Brands ...

Technology has grown a long way in the past decade or so, and we can still see many improvements in terms of newer releases. There are new laptops, computers, notebooks and mobile phones coming out every single week, and it clearly tells us that innovation is not going to stop soon. If you are on the lookout for a new laptop, you should definitely make sure to purchase a good brand that offers a ton of features. The processor that powers the laptop is the main component you need to focus on when buying a laptop. If you are going to be using your laptop for gaming, you would be better off with an AMD processor. On the other hand, for regular use including intensive video editing, you could use an intel i3 processor.

10. Acer Aspire One

Acer
The Acer laptop brand is surely not as bad as what many people think. When thinking of buying a laptop, Acer comes last on many peoples list because it is not known for power and resistance. If you will be using your laptop occasionally for less intensive programs, you would be perfect with the Acer Aspire One. The Acer is not as strong as the other systems, but it does help you get things done. The laptop is built the same way any other laptop is built, but the components simply differ on the performance scale. In terms of price, Acer has always been known to offer the lowest pricing. They now make mini notebooks that are about 8 to 10 inches. These smaller laptops come in at about two hundred dollars.

9. Gateway

Gateway
Gateway is a mix of many companies, as most of their components come from various companies in the laptop industry. In terms of pricing, Gateway also offers some of the lowest prices on laptops, but they do have some high-end products that line up with the more established brands. Gateway also makes personal computer towers and other computer peripherals. Processor would either be an AMD or Intel, so that is what you have to look out for. When buying a laptop, you should place sufficient emphasis on the amount of memory, RAM and HDD space on the computer. The bulk of the pricing is based odd these factors, and the rest goes towards the other components and brand.

8. ASUS

Asus
ASUS hasn’t really been in the market all that much, as most of their products are laptops and tech-based. Unlike the other more established brands, ASUS does not spend a ton of time and money on advertising and promoting their products. If you visit an electronic store or outlet, you will find ASUS brand products, but they would be limited. Due to the limited brand exposure, many people try to avoid their products. If you need a laptop that would be able to get simple things done for you, then the ASUS would be fine. The company also makes their own line of computer monitors, so you can get some combo deals from the manufacturer site.

7. Alienware

Alienware
The Alienware laptop is a strong laptop brand, but it does lack performance when it comes to intensive computer uses. If you will be using the laptop very often, you may not be able to stick with an Alienware. The brand is well known for outstanding designs and towers, as most of the machines are durable. If you look at an Alienware laptop, you will know that they truly put in a lot of time and work in the design. Alienware laptops are made just like all the other laptops in the market, but their processors are combined with low performance components. Whereas with other brands, you get the best processor installed with amazing components.

6. Lenovo

Lenovo
Lenovo is slowly becoming a bold company in the laptop market. The company does make PC towers, servers, multimedia equipment and more, so they are a well rounded company. However, in terms of laptops and notebooks, their products have become very sophisticated. If you were to compare a Lenovo laptop from three years ago, you will see a lot of difference in both performance and style. The style is very much like any other laptop in the market, but the performance does matter. The brand is established worldwide and they have outlets in all the major countries.

5. Toshiba

Toshiba
Toshiba is a very well known Japan based company that focuses on all aspects of technology and innovation. If you come across a Toshiba product, you know that it will be able to stand anything you put against it. The systems are built to last long as they are all newly produced. You will not find a single Toshiba laptop that has problems during the initial start-up. These laptops are put together with either AMD or Intel processors. In terms of servers, Toshiba still has not opened its gates into it, but it may happen sometime in the future.

4. Dell

Dell Studio
Dell Systems have been the leader in PC computing for a long time to come. Along with IBM, Dell has been at the forefront of PC technology. Dell is a leading producer of drivers, printers, monitors, laptops, notebooks and more. By visiting the Dell website, you will get to see many of their products at unbelievable prices. Dell Market Shares is part of the NASDAQ market feature. If you are considering laptops such as the Dell Thinkpad, you should not hesitate to buy it. These laptops are built to last long. No matter how much you put these systems through, they will not fail on you.

3. HP Hewlett Packard

HP
HP is well known among North American’s as a trusted brand in the laptop and PC tower niche. Their towers are now available with AMD and Intel i3 processors. All of the laptops have a minimum of 2GB of RAM and 180GB of hard drive space. As technology progresses more and more, so will the amount of features and memory power. Several years ago, finding a computer with more than 6GB of RAM was impossible. Today, many computers are being made with over 6GB of RAM. However, the price of the system will reflect off of what is included in the computer.

2. Sony Vaio

Sony
The Sony line of laptops are almost like the Apple products, but with more of a sleeker design. These laptops are just as the other HP, Toshiba or Dell laptops. The name Sony on its own does provide a lot of recognition in terms of price. You should expect to pay more for Sony laptops as the name has its own price. The one thing about the Sony Vaio is that you will be getting a fill round of Sony softwares and programs with it. Sony specializes in music and video production and these laptops are great for it. However, many people prefer using the Apple line of laptops for video and media editing.

1. Apple

Apple
In 2011, Apple was awarded as the world’s most valuable company. The company has done impeccably well in terms of creating some of the worlds most innovative products and services. One after the other, Apple has created wonderful products like the iPod, iTouch, iPhone, iPad, MacBook Air and more. The laptops tend to be pricey, but everything is worth it. These laptops stay up and running for the longest periods of time. If you are into video editing and production, you will need an Apple laptop or computer. Mac’s programs are great for Apple as well, such as iMovie, etc.
